Why didn't my high school get my score report?

Your high school will receive your scores only if you authorized reporting. If you register by mail, you authorize reporting by listing the correct high school code on the registration folder. If you register on the Web, you must list the correct high school code when prompted to do so AND respond "Yes" by marking a check-box that indicates you authorize ACT to release your scores to that high school.

The high school you listed (if any) appears on your score report. If it is correct, your high school should receive your scores in a mailing addressed to "Director of Counseling."

ACT normally mails reports for the ACT (No Writing) within 3 to 8 weeks after the test date. If you took the ACT Plus Writing, reports will not be mailed until all of your scores, including Writing, are available, normally 5 to 8 weeks after the test date. Please allow at least 8 weeks for your high school to confirm receipt of your scores. High schools normally receive multiple mailings from ACT as scores are released. If, after 8 weeks, your high school still cannot confirm receipt of your scores, please ask the Director of Counseling or your counselor to contact our High School Counselor Help Line (319/337-1320).
