What if I've missed the late registration deadline but need to take the test that day?
If you missed the late registration deadline for your test date in United States, U.S. territories, Puerto Rico, or Canada; or missed the regular deadline for your test date in other countries, you can try to test standby.
Or, if you registered for a previous test date but did not test (did not break the seal on the test booklet), take your admission ticket from that test date to the test center on test day and tell the test supervisor you want to make a test date change on test day. We will bill you $42 for a late test date change. Do not bring payment to the test center.
Note: Neither standby testing nor a late test date change guarantees you a seat at the test center. You will be admitted only if there are materials, space, and staff available for your preferred test option after all students registered for that center on that test date have been seated for their test option.
