When will my college need to have my ACT scores?
Colleges have different procedures regarding application materials. Many will keep ACT scores in a holding file for a short time until they receive additional materials; however, some prefer to have your application before they receive the score report. Because these requirements differ greatly among the thousands of colleges to which we send score reports, we aren't able to provide students with information about a specific college's practices.
