This broad major is intended to orient you to agriculture as a whole. You will study basic animal, plant, and soil science, animal husbandry and plant cultivation, soil conservation, and agricultural operations such as farming, ranching, and agricultural business. You will also study agricultural economics, pest management, biology, chemistry, and agricultural engineering and mechanics. You will apply this knowledge to jobs in the agricultural community such as farm management, marketing, consulting, teaching and technical services.
