Topics of Study
In this program, you will learn how to apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development, and operational evaluation of aircraft, space vehicles, and their systems. You will study physical forces such as air and water flow and plasma. You will learn to design navigational equipment, power systems, and other devices important to the successful launching and control of air and space vehicles. You will study mathematics, science, and basic engineering, and specialize in courses directly related to aeronautical /astronautical engineering.
Degrees Available
- A bachelor's degree is sufficient for some entry-level engineering jobs, but many jobs require a graduate degree.
- An advanced degree will qualify to teach in higher education, work as consultants, or hold administrative management positions in large corporations or in the government.
