Topics of Study
In this program, you will learn how to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of architects, engineers and planners who design and develop buildings and related systems. You will study design testing procedures, building site analysis, computer graphics and model building, engineering drawing, structural systems testing, analysis of prototype mechanical and interior systems, test equipment operation and maintenance, and report preparation for use by architects, engineers, and other construction-related professionals.
Degrees Available
- During the second year of college, some students enter a transfer program that will enhance opportunities for acceptance into a four-year engineering program.
- Graduates of two-year programs may work in responsible positions in an architect's, engineer's, or other construction-related company.
